This is a combination of the workmen injury benefit act (WIBA) and
Group Personal Accident (GPA) covers. It addresses workplace risks
as well as off-duty risks.
What the cover offers
WIBA (Workers Injury Benefit Act) provides critical cover for your employees should they require medical assistance or are unable to work as a result of a workplace incident(accident). This insurance cover is designed around an approach focused on both risk mitigation and early-return-to-work practices.
It covers the employees of the Insured whilst on duty and engaged in the execution of the Insured’s business &/or any project undertaken by the Insured, against accidental bodily injury, disablement or death.
Compensation is payable in accordance with the provisions of the WIBA Act 2007.
